Our outstanding landscapers and installers are working on a caravan park project to renovate a residential retirement home site. This is a large commercial project for the S&D Paving team and covers the entire site.

The Scope Of The Caravan Park Project
This is a large commercial project for our team, requiring a full renovation of the caravan park site. Taking place in Epsom, Surrey, we were recommended to perform this renovation by a friend of the company due to the high standards of work we always deliver.
The current caravan park had been used for several years and had seen better days, as it was very dilapidated and unfit for purpose. Our team has been tasked with completely renovating the space, creating a new driveway for the first home of the park so it is separate from the rest of the site, as well as creating a new welcoming entrance for the retirement park itself.
This is a very large project for our team and one that requires a lot of work to get it right. We not only have to renovate the park so it is useable and more attractive but also ensure that it is a place the residents will love coming home to.
We are working on creating a user-friendly layout of the caravan park, complete with a well-planned parking and turnaround area that is accessible for the residents. A lot of demolition and construction is required throughout the progress, as well as several units being renovated.
We are making great progress with this project, as you can see in the video, and continue to deliver outstanding services to meet the needs of our clients.
A New Chapter For The Caravan Park: Redefining Spaces
A lot of work is required to renovate this caravan park and create an environment that the residents will love. There are several major steps to this project, and we have already made great progress with the brand-new entrance to the caravan park.
Our team has installed a stunning gravel driveway which operates as the driveway for one of the houses, as well as the entrance to the site. Getting this particular element right has been vital, as this is the first impression residents and visitors get of the site. The homeowners at the top of the park required a separate gravel driveway for their home, allowing them to live independently, and the entrance to the caravan site itself also needed some work.
For this, we have constructed a new entrance wall and fences as barriers to the caravan park to redefine the boundaries of the property and create a clear separation between the park and the rest of the street.
All waste generated throughout this project has been recycled wherever possible, as part of our commitment to sustainability. We also aim to reuse materials when we can, which is why the hardcore rubble that has been excavated to make space for new entrances and driveways will be crushed and brought back to the site for use later on.
Ongoing Work And Future Plans
This is a large-scale project with many areas of the caravan site needing our attention. While we have already made great progress with the entrance to the park and clearing the site ready for ongoing tasks, there is more to be done.
Various homes across the park are included in the new design and will need to be renovated to fit our plans. As part of the new design for this caravan park project, we will be upgrading the existing layout of the space.
The old annexe will need to be demolished to make room for the new units, which will create better living environments for the residents. The old single units are being replaced to make room for parking space and a grass patio area, and the new areas will be enclosed with a picket fence for privacy.
As Andrew demonstrates in the video, this is a large-scale project with a lot of work required simultaneously to bring the residential park up to scratch. While we have already made great progress, more work is needed and we will remain here until our clients are completely satisfied with the results.
